    Wayne ： Er ， yes. I would like the beef steak. Waitress ： How would
you like your meat cooked ？

    Wayne ： Well done， Please. Waitress ： Would you like a side salad？

    Wayne ： No. Waitress ： Anything else to drink ？

    Wayne ： Yes. A glass of your house wine. Waitress： Very good. I
will bring your appetizer immediately.

    講解：

    1.侍者對(duì)顧客要絕對(duì)的客氣，所以當(dāng)詢問客人是否看完菜單并準(zhǔn)備點(diǎn)菜時(shí)，
要婉轉(zhuǎn)地說，Have you had time to look over the menu ？ menu ，菜單。

    2.在這里客人點(diǎn)了一份牛排。牛排，beef steak. 當(dāng)詢問客人牛排需要幾成
熟應(yīng)該怎么說呢？對(duì)話中的原句是How would you like your meat cooked ？這
是一個(gè)很有用的句型。

    3.客人回答Well done.在一般情況下，well done 的意思是" 干得不錯(cuò)、干
得漂亮" ，而在對(duì)話中，它是" 完全熟" 的意思，希望大家注意。

    4. side salad ，意為" 作為配菜的沙拉" ；appetizer 是開胃菜的意思。
