　　Good Morning and Welcome to the Grade 5 Graduation Ceremony.

　　We are here today to celebrate the accomplishments of our Grade 5 class of 2020.

　　You have come a long way in your educational journey. It may seem like forever to you, but for your parents, just the blink of an eye.

　　You should take pride in what you have done, building a foundation for future learning opportunities. But as you pat yourself on the back, as many others will, remember that you have not made this journey alone. You have some people to thank: First thank your parents for all their support and your teachers who have helped you along the way. And don't forget your Grade 5 teachers who have done an amazing job of preparing you for Middle School. Thank Madam Zhang and SIBS for providing this educational opportunity.

　　Middle School is your next big step, but do not fear change because you are ready. You are ready to face the academic work and social challenges. You are ready to change and transform into the person you want to become.

　　This is your time, so make the most of it!

　　愿畢業(yè)生們前程似錦

　　Good morning everyone. My name is Oscar, and I have been to SIBS for five years. What comes in mind when I speak of schools? Learning, studying, teachers, and students may be your first choice, but now, I am going to talk about the experience I had here at SIBS. When talking about schools, all the small things, such as the teachers, students, education, and environment, really have a huge impact on the school. The reason is school is something that helps millions and even billions of people to get educated and prepared for their next stage in life.

　　Throughout these years, I made many friends and met many great teachers. I really enjoy my time at SIBS. At SIBS, I basically learned how to speak English, because, for the first year here, I went to ESL for the first two months. This school improved a lot, and I have seen it myself. The playgrounds and classrooms have developed, and our environment has grown friendlier. The teachers here at SIBs are my favorite. Great teachers like Mr. Frank, which is my own fifth-grade teacher, and Mr. Ed, my second-grade teacher, made me never forgot them, but right now I want to say to them, “do not be proud!” I thought to myself, what downsides does this school really have? Well, I found out. None. Apparently not, because for me, it’s a perfect school. I cannot say that this school is brilliant at teaching us about current events, but I know that they are trying to teach us what they can. As a school, SIBS is great, and I believe in the next few years, it will grow even better and help more people to be educated and prepared. So, combining the things I said above, it makes up the happiest memories I have. Thank you!

　　君誠學(xué)校的各位老師同學(xué)們，大家上午好。我是五年級C班楊智淳和楊智普同學(xué)的媽媽。很榮幸能夠代表全體家長，在如此特別的畢業(yè)典禮上，送上我們的感謝和祝福。感謝老師們的教育關(guān)愛，祝福孩子們健康快樂，前途限量。未來可期，也許二十年后，登上火星的就是你。

　　今天，你們小學(xué)畢業(yè)啦！畢業(yè)是五年小學(xué)生涯的結(jié)束，也是未來初高中生涯的開始，你們會學(xué)到更多知識，經(jīng)歷更多事情，可愛的小朋友馬上要成為意氣風(fēng)發(fā)的少年。

　　我很想透過四十年的人生經(jīng)歷，把未來可能遇到的磕絆提前告訴你們，但沒有人可以預(yù)見未來的樣子。尤其是當世界瞬息萬變，科技突飛猛進的時刻，一切皆有可能。只要你們心懷夢想，不斷學(xué)習(xí)，充滿勇氣地去面對未知世界。

　　家長為你們選擇君誠來讀書，是因為希望你們擁有全球性的視野，保持純真的性情、培養(yǎng)的創(chuàng)造力。是因為希望你們不受刻板的束縛，不讀死書，不成為刷題考試的機器。是因為希望你們成為有真情熱血，正直善良，勇敢堅強又樂觀幸福的人。

　　新冠肺炎讓你們不能來學(xué)校上學(xué)，整整四個月，你們每天窩在家里上網(wǎng)課，哪也不能去！但比起那些身染重病的人，我們至少很健康，比起一線的醫(yī)護人員，我們至少很安全。比起那些衣食無著的人，我們至少很溫飽而且，現(xiàn)在大家熟練應(yīng)用CCtalk，ZOOM，Managebac等等在線學(xué)習(xí)軟件，下載打印，拍照上傳更是不在話下。除了學(xué)校的網(wǎng)課，還有更多的自由支配時間，用來讀自己喜歡的書，干自己喜歡的事。現(xiàn)在國內(nèi)疫情基本結(jié)束，大家回歸期盼已久的校園，老師和同學(xué)們沒有一人被感染。不僅帶回來一個健康的身體，還帶回來一段有意義的經(jīng)歷，帶回來平時無法獲得的珍貴領(lǐng)悟。那就是如何面對世事的無常，如何應(yīng)對突如其來的逆境。我們要使自己有能力，有信心，去面對未來的各種不確定性。

　　同學(xué)們，雖然你們期待中的畢業(yè)典禮沒能實現(xiàn)，父母兄妹不能親身鑒證這激動人心的時刻，但希望每一個人都能銘記這次特殊的畢業(yè)典禮，并把它當作一個美好的開始，暢游知識海洋，勇攀學(xué)術(shù)高峰。

　　君誠學(xué)校建校于2000年，座落于北京市順義區(qū)后沙峪中央別墅區(qū)，為2-18歲的學(xué)生提供十六年一貫制的國際教育，是一所寄宿兼走讀的學(xué)校。目前已取得AP資質(zhì)，同時為IB候選校。小班制英文沉浸式教學(xué)，師生比1：6，同時可跨區(qū)招收外籍、京籍、非京籍學(xué)生。
