swear.我發(fā)誓。/ Believe me. 相信我吧。

    2.他有膽量當(dāng)眾指責(zé)老板。

    「原句」He had the nerve to scold his boss in public. 「解說(shuō)」have
the nerve for/to do sth.，也可以說(shuō)have a nerve或者h(yuǎn)ave some nerve ，有
勇氣做某事，有膽量做某事。

    「原句」Honestly speaking ， I couldn't care less about the mid-term
elections.「解說(shuō)」couldn't care less用來(lái)表達(dá)對(duì)某事一點(diǎn)也不在乎，一點(diǎn)也
沒(méi)興趣；相反，couldn't care more就表示很在乎，相當(dāng)于care a lot.
