3月12日是我國一年一度的植樹節(jié)，植樹節(jié)是按照法律規(guī)定宣傳保護樹木，并組織動員群眾積極參加以植樹造林為活動內(nèi)容的節(jié)日。在這個特別的節(jié)日，3月11日早，黑利伯瑞舉行了 “擁抱綠色 從我做起”為主題的升旗儀式。今天升旗儀式的主持人是來自初中部7年級的莊啟銘和花藝涵同學(xué)。由于天氣原因，升旗儀式通過校園廣播在室內(nèi)進行。

　　升旗儀式上，黑利伯瑞師生代表向全體發(fā)出了“擁抱綠色 從我做起”的倡議，向師生傳遞了綠色環(huán)保理念，愛護花草，保護環(huán)境，從我做起，用心聲召喚”綠色“的真誠，做到人人參與、傳播“綠色”的環(huán)保理念。

　　初中部國旗隊代表張博洋同學(xué)，為今天的升旗手張昊陽做簡要的介紹。

　　敬愛的老師、親愛的同學(xué)們：

　　大家早上好!今天我演講的題目是《我們只有一個地球》。

　　Dear teachers and schoolmates, good morning! My topictoday is “We have only one earth.”

　　地球是宇宙中一顆璀璨的明珠。昔日的地球仿佛人間仙境，藍天碧水、綠樹成陰……而今天的地球卻失去了往日的美麗風(fēng)采，這讓人不禁深思：這是為什么?

　　The earth is a beautiful pearl in the universe. Inthe past, the earth is like a fairyland, clear water andblue sky, green trees… But now, the earth had lost her beauty, the peoplecan not help but think: That is why?

　　聽，森林里傳來的不是鳥語花香，而是無情的槍聲和電鋸聲。樹木一棵棵倒下了，動物們失去了家園，沙塵暴卻越來越猖狂。清澈的河水變成了污水，看不見魚兒歡快的影子……

　　Listen, there are no more trees and birds in the forest but thesound of powerful saws. Trees were cut down and animals losttheir homes. The clear water became dirty, with no fish.

　　如果再這樣下去，我們將呼吸不到新鮮的空氣，我們將無水可飲、無處安身……地球?qū)�毀于我們之手�?/p>

　　If this goes on, wecan not get fresh air. There will be no water to drink, no placeto live… The earth will be destroyed in our hands.

　　我們要做到節(jié)約用水、用電，少排放污水，不使用白色垃圾袋，將自己家的垃圾分類裝袋，分別投放。然后，為防止人們?yōu)橹圃旒垙埗鴣y砍亂伐，我建議用過的作業(yè)本用來當草稿紙，讀過的舊報紙用來寫毛筆字，很舊的書送到廢物回收站改造成再生紙。在外面吃飯時不用一次性筷子，喝水的時候不用一次性紙杯。植樹節(jié)的時候我們一定要多種幾顆樹，讓地球母親重新披上綠色的外衣!恢復(fù)往日的風(fēng)采!

　　We should save water and electricity, and put the wastedifferently. Then, I suggest doing homework on used paper, writingChinese characters on old newspapers, and reusing the old books to cut fewertrees. Do not use cups and other things for only one time when we eat out. Plantmore trees to make the earth mother put on green coat! Bebeautiful like before.

　　同學(xué)們，為了我們共同的家園，為了給未來留下藍天、碧水、綠地、紅花……讓我們攜起手來，共同保護地球的一草一木，因為，我們只有一個地球。

　　尊敬的老師，同學(xué)們：

　　明天是一年一度的植樹節(jié)，在這科學(xué)高速發(fā)展的今天，物質(zhì)追求已成為人們力爭的首要目標。為了能擁有所謂的“高質(zhì)量”生活，許多人在物質(zhì)，私欲面前做著一件件愚蠢的事。

　　Tomorrow is the annual Arbor Day. With the rapid development of science, the pursuit of material has become the primary objective of the people. In order to have the so-called "high quality" life, many people are performing ridiculously to satisfy their personal desire.

　　亂砍濫伐，破壞水源，浪費石油，人們近乎掠奪性地開發(fā)地球資源，破壞了生態(tài)平衡，使一些地方長期干旱無雨，一些地方卻洪水泛濫。酸雨，泥雨，赤潮，龍卷風(fēng)，沙塵暴……越來越頻繁地出現(xiàn)，一次又一次地向我們敲響了警鐘。

　　Deforestation, water pollution, waste oil…human beings are like predators to exploit the resource of earth, which damaged the ecological balance. In this case, some places are experiencing long-time drought, while some places are flooding all the time. Acid rain, red tide, tornado, sandstorm...... those natural disasters are appearing more and more frequently, which definitely is an alarm for all human beings.

　　我無法阻止人們隨意砍伐為數(shù)不多的森林，但我們可以節(jié)約每一張紙，可以抑制自己更換家具的欲望，可以節(jié)省使用一次性筷子……正是這微不足道的一點貢獻，便可換來生活環(huán)境的和諧，人與自然的融洽。

　　We can't stop people from cutting down trees, but we can start to save every piece of paper; we can also restrain our desire to change new furniture, and we can stop using disposable chopsticks...... it’s just these trivial contributions that can lead to the harmony between nature and human beings.

　　直到現(xiàn)在，還有許多人根本不知道植樹節(jié)這個重要的節(jié)日到底在哪，這不是對環(huán)境的一種蔑視嗎!為什么還有那么多人再隨意伐樹，使我們的環(huán)境受到嚴重的威脅。如果環(huán)境不是最重要的，那么為什么幾乎所有的國家都設(shè)定了植樹節(jié)!希望所有破壞過環(huán)境的人都用心想一想。人類的家園不是你一個人的，而是屬于一切生物的!難道人類都是冷漠的嗎?難道一定要剝奪動植物們生存的權(quán)利嗎?答案是否定的。保護環(huán)境靠大家，如果人們多付出些，相信大自然也會給予我們美好的回報。

　　Until now, many people even don't know when is the exact time of Arbor Day. isn’t is a neglect of protecting environment? Why there are still so many people cutting trees? If the environment is not the most important, then why almost all the countries have set Arbor Day? Earth is not only your home, but also a warm habitat for every human being and creatures. Are all human beings cold-blood? Do we have to deprive animals and plants of their right to live? The answer is No. It’s everyone’s responsibility to protect environment. If people treat it better, I believe that nature will give us a good return.

　　人之初，性本善，我堅信，每一個人都曾擁有一顆純潔的心，只不過是被物質(zhì)私欲所迷惑了。只要敢于接開虛偽的面紗，去掉私欲的邪惡心靈，那么一個真正的生活，真正的世界，離我們還遠嗎?

　　The nature of human at birth is good. I believe that everyone has ever had a pure heart but is captive by desires. As long as we dare to unveil all the ugliness, remove the evil desires of heart, then we will live a better life.

　　初中部教師代表梁淑芬、Diana老師發(fā)言。

　　通過本次升旗儀式，師生們不但提高了環(huán)保低碳意識，懂得了綠化環(huán)境從我做起的重要性，營造了和諧美好的校園環(huán)境。

　　“綠色”是不變的話題，責(zé)任是我們的信仰，讓我們積極響應(yīng)綠色環(huán)保的號召，從我做起，從小事做起，從身邊做起，用雙手共筑我們的美好家園!
