    Philip： Robbie ， the dinner was terrific. Susan ： Yes， it was

    Ellen ： Don't worry. We've got lots of ice cream. Richard： Oh ，

    Philip： I'll have chocolate. Marilyn ： Me ， too. Richard ： Uh ，

是“隨后，稍后”的意思。Late則是指“遲的，晚的”

    3. Don't worry. We've got lots of ice cream.這是Ellen 在安慰忘記準(zhǔn)
備甜點(diǎn)的廚師Robbie“沒什么。我們有很多冰淇淋呢。”

    We've got ……是“我們有……”的意思。這里的have got表示“擁有，具
有”，可以用have替換。

    用來安慰別人的時(shí)候，我們可以說 "Don't worry. "，相當(dāng)于漢語中的“別
擔(dān)心，甭急，沒什么”。又如，在電話中安慰病人的家屬時(shí)，Philip說"Don't worry.
She'll be fine."（別著急，她很快就會(huì)好的。）

    4. Well ， there's chocolate and coffee and a little vanilla. 有巧
克力的，咖啡的，還有一點(diǎn)兒香草的（冰淇淋）。這里的"vanilla， chocolate，
coffee" 都是指冰淇淋的口味。

    5. I'll have vanilla. Is that all right with everyone ？

    Robbie在搶著要只剩下一點(diǎn)的香草冰淇淋，“我要香草的。大家不反對(duì)吧？”
