1.What is language for？ Some people seem to think it is for practicing
grammar rules and learning lists of words ——the longer the words the
better. That‘s wrong. Language is for the exchange of ideas， for communication.
語(yǔ)言到底是用來(lái)干什么的呢？一些人認(rèn)為它是用來(lái)操練語(yǔ)法規(guī)則和學(xué)習(xí)一大堆單
詞——而且單詞越長(zhǎng)越好。這個(gè)想法是錯(cuò)誤的。語(yǔ)言是用來(lái)交換思想，進(jìn)行交流
溝通的！

    2. The way to learn a language is to practice speaking it as often

    8. Use a dictionary and grammar guide constantly. Keep a small English
