　　In the just-concluded "Sina 2019 China Education Ceremony", The MacDuffie School was honored to receive the "2019 Comprehensive Strength in an Education Group" award. 　　本次“新浪2019中國(guó)教育盛典”以“教育的力量”為主題，邀請(qǐng)超過(guò)500位教育部及政府領(lǐng)導(dǎo)、國(guó)內(nèi)外權(quán)威教育專家、知名高校代表、重點(diǎn)中學(xué)校長(zhǎng)、新媒體負(fù)責(zé)人、各國(guó)使館及文化教育協(xié)會(huì)官員、教育公益項(xiàng)目代表等與會(huì)，共同開啟中國(guó)教育的新十年。

　　With the theme of "The Power of Education", this "Sina 2019 China Education Ceremony" invited more than 500 leaders from the Ministry of Education and the Government, Authoritative Education Experts from both home and abroad, representatives of well-known universities, Principals of key Middle Schools, new Media Directors, officials of Embassies and from the Association for Culture and Education in various countries, and finally the representatives of educational public welfare projects to joined to witness the new chapter of the education in China.

　　教育部原副部長(zhǎng)張?zhí)毂�、�?guó)家特殊津貼專家陸士楨教授等與會(huì)發(fā)言，闡述自己對(duì)于教育的理解和暢想，美達(dá)菲學(xué)校教學(xué)總監(jiān)Vicki Saul作為獲獎(jiǎng)嘉賓接受了現(xiàn)場(chǎng)媒體的專訪，作為近幾年快速成長(zhǎng)的國(guó)際學(xué)校，記者對(duì)于美達(dá)菲學(xué)校教育理念和辦學(xué)特色極為關(guān)注，Vicki認(rèn)為：我們的辦學(xué)理念是懷中國(guó)心做世界人，希望在中西融合的教育背景下，將孩子培養(yǎng)為有價(jià)值、有責(zé)任心、尊重多元文化的世界公民。

　　Zhang Tianbao, the former deputy Minister of Education, and Lu Shizhen, an expert of National Special Allowance, delivered speeches in the meeting and explained their understanding and expectation of on education. Vicki Saul, the Academic Director of the MacDuffie School, as an award-winning guest, received an exclusive interview with the media on the spot. The MacDuffie School is one of the fast-growing international schools in China in recent years. The journalist was especially interested in the education concept and running characteristics of the MacDuffie Schools. Vicki believes that “Our running idea is to cultivate global perspectives in Chinese students. We want to foster in students sense of values, responsibility and respect for diversity as participants in the world beyond.
