北大附屬益田同文學(xué)校國(guó)際部于2018年9月3日星期一正式“開(kāi)門(mén)營(yíng)業(yè)”。我所指的“事業(yè)”是教育事業(yè),更具體一點(diǎn),是國(guó)際教育事業(yè)。
The International Division of Peking University Yitian Tongwen School Langfang was ‘open for business’ on Monday 3 September, 2018. The ‘business’ I am referring to is the business of education. Specifically, international education.
雖然學(xué)習(xí)成績(jī)的提高是國(guó)際部始終的工作核心,但我們同樣重視學(xué)生的全面發(fā)展。我們希望讓孩子們獲得實(shí)用的技能和健全的性格,幫助他們可以在當(dāng)今社會(huì)解決他們所面臨的問(wèn)題,可以使他們?cè)? 21世紀(jì)取得成功。
While academic success will be at the heart of what we do in the International Division, we will be equally committed to the education of the whole child. We want our children to acquire the skills and dispositions that will help them find solutions to the challenges that we face today and, ultimately, make them successful in the 21st Century.
我們希望我們的學(xué)生能夠?qū)W會(huì)與他人積極有效的合作,批判性地分析問(wèn)題和解決問(wèn)題,具有創(chuàng)新性,能夠清晰地表達(dá)自己的想法并進(jìn)行有效的溝通,能夠熟練的使用現(xiàn)代科學(xué)技術(shù)。
We want our students to be able to collaborate effectively with others, to critically analyse and solve problems, to be innovative, to be able to communicate with clarity, and to be able to use technology effectively.
我們堅(jiān)信某些性格特征是在當(dāng)今社會(huì)中生活和工作必不可少的,最終獲得成功的是那些具有高度反思意識(shí),積極參與,善解人意,充滿(mǎn)好奇心和具有適應(yīng)能力的人。同時(shí),我們堅(jiān)信樂(lè)于奉獻(xiàn)和持續(xù)努力是獲得個(gè)人成就的最關(guān)鍵的精神。我們的目標(biāo)就是在培養(yǎng)學(xué)生以上優(yōu)秀品質(zhì)。
We also believe that certain dispositions are essential in the modern world and that the most successful are those who are highly reflective, engaged, empathetic, inquisitive and adaptable. Above all, we believe that dedication and effort are the most critical attributes of high-achieving individuals, and it is our goal to develop these qualities in our students.
在開(kāi)學(xué)的周,國(guó)際部為學(xué)生提供了和教師互相熟悉和了解的機(jī)會(huì)。

我們與您分享的照片只是我們活動(dòng)的一部分,因?yàn)楹苓z憾有些活動(dòng)的美好瞬間沒(méi)有被捕捉下來(lái),照片有時(shí)也無(wú)法展示孩子們的學(xué)習(xí)狀態(tài)、參與熱情以及在活動(dòng)中獲得的喜悅。但我們?nèi)詴?huì)認(rèn)真的記錄孩子們?cè)趪?guó)際部的點(diǎn)滴生活!
The photos we share with you can only tell a part of our story and can never really express the level of engagement, learning and fun that was had by all. We sincerely plan for this to continue!
