　　There are some possible reasons for this common social phenomenon. For one thing， the social competition is becoming so fierce that all trades tend to produce ads to make themselves better known to the public. For another， they‘re not prepared to face the challenge and as a result， they can do little except declare their own duty as something praiseworthy.

　　In my opinion， every trade should try every means to improve its competitive forces instead of boasting like the hen in the cartoon. Therefore， I draw my conclusion that just as a hen shouldn‘t promise for her egg， so no trade in the society should boast themselves for something within their duty and that they should work hard to provide more benefits for the society. In a word， try not to be like the boasting hen in our life!

　　As is shown from the first graph， the USA witnessed a rapid growth of population during the period of time from the year of 1800 to 1990. It is obvious that the country‘s population explosion e xerted a great effect on its wildlife and resulted in the sharp decline in their number.

　　What caused the effect? There‘re at least two possible reasons provided here. Secondly， the large human population causes serious environmental pollution so that it is hard for wildlife to live in a clean and favorable surrounding. 　　As far as I am concerned， my suggestions as to how to protect wildlife in the USA are as follows. First of all， the government should propagandize(宣傳)/make efforts to arouse public awareness of the importance of wildlife protection. In the second place， the government should take effective measures to control the birthrate and prevent the environment from being polluted. Finally， excessive killing of animals should be banned by law. This is my point of view and I am sure my idea is both reasonable and workable.
